How do I clean my units?2024-01-24T17:39:53+01:00

For our units, we chose this recyclable EPP foam because it is very resistant to stains and marks. A really good idea to leave this toy to the children in complete peace of mind. But if ever your units need a little clean-up, a refresh, then it’s possible and not very complicated, you’ll see: a little hot water, a bit of soft soap, a cloth, a sponge (no no, not the scratchy side) or a soft brush, and that’s it. It shines like a new penny (very old expression it’s true… we got a little lost…). Others who use the same material even invite you to put it in the dishwasher without fear. That’s how resistant and waterproof it is. We will not do the same, for the good and simple reason that we have for our part plugs with magnets (the very principle of our toy) and that we want to pamper these precious parts to preserve the connectivity. As for the plugs, a wipe with a cloth or a soft brush from time to time, with the same soft soap used above, to clean the traces and remove the light layer of dust and you will be as good as new (we removed the “penny” this time !)

How to store my kit?2024-05-06T11:50:19+02:00

Basically, our idea is a modular children’s playhouse. In the end, our product is a modular children’s playhouse. It’s a good thing, you might say… The ambition was to be able to transform it easily, but also to be able to store it very easily. It’s a question of optimizing space for our small interiors or for children’s rooms that are always more crowded. So, the principle is quite simple: you can stack the modules in much the same way as when you received them in the original packaging. Two stacks side by side of squares and portholes, then trapezoids, and finally staggered triangles (three triangles represent a trapezoid you will see). Then, we trust you to find a place for them under the bed, next to the chest of drawers or above the wardrobe. There, we won’t be able to find it for you. The other option, which we like a lot at inöuqa, is to make a toy box with some modules and then it becomes useful to store other modules and even other objects (figurines, doudous, dolls, felts…). Practical and super decorative in the room.

That’s for now, but we are already working on even more awesome and functional storage solutions that we hope to offer you very soon in the store. “Stay tuned” as they say in America…

Can I play outside?2024-01-24T17:39:52+01:00

We have mainly thought of inöuqa to play and move indoors. But when the nice days arrive, we understand that it is tempting to move it outside. So, it’s possible, with some slight reservations and precautions however… Your units will resist to different weather, but it’s probably better to avoid heavy rains which could insidiously infiltrate the plugs with the magnets. For playability, you will need to find a flat surface, which will allow you to have stable constructions (avoid the lawn for example). And the most important thing in our opinion, is not to leave the units outside. We recommend bringing them in after each use to preserve them and make them last as long as possible. But we have a little secret to tell you: we are already thinking about a special outdoor magic playhouse.

A little patience…
